The Bishop’s House is located in the Northern Province of Rwanda in a town called Musanze; the gateway to the Volcanoes National Park which is home to the Mountain Gorilla and the Golden Monkey. TBH is a mere 25 minute drive away (17KMS) from the park and its plethora of inhabitants both big and small. Its location in the rich quiet suburbs of Musanze makes it the ideal location for travelers wanting to explore the Volcanoes National Park, the Musanze Caves and all the other attractions that make the area a busy tourist hub.

The colonial style architecture and furnishings of The Bishop’s House sets it apart from others and our nine luxuriously decorated rooms are available to our guests at an affordable price. TBH is a haven of tranquility, surrounded by flora and fauna along with the sights and sounds of nature, making it the perfect location for any guest looking to unwind and enjoy the calm of the land of a thousand hills – Rwanda. All rooms are furnished with large, antique hand crafted four-poster beds on a wooden floor that envelopes the occupant in warmth and grandeur. In the en-suite bathrooms you will be met with hot showers and bathrobes warm and soft to the touch. The rooms have DSTV, Wi-Fi, mini-bars and tea and coffee facilities to add to the homely feel of The Bishop’s House.

The Bishop’s House restaurant opens every day at 05:30AM for breakfast. Guests order all hot dishes directly from the kitchen with an array of breakfast cereals and fresh fruit being available. Our five course menu table d’hote lunch is served from 12:30 PM and our six course dinner menu is served from 07:30PM. All meals include the availability of unlimited soft drinks, local beers and house wines with the exclusion of all premium drinks. Guests are welcomed to place orders for meals ahead of time at reception (the daily menus can be found there).

The all-inclusive package offered by The Bishop’s House is as follows: Three meals daily with lunch being a five course meal and dinner being a six course meal from a table d’hote menu. All drinks are included i.e. soft drinks, local beers and house wine (premium drinks are excluded) mini-bars in the room are also stocked with complimentary beverages.
